2010 Year in Review

2010 didn't bring a whole lot of excitement...and lots of thing are still the same:
  • Legos are everywhere;
  • Adam and Zach still play soccer and find ways to annoy each other, yet are best friends;
  • Scott still gets paid to watch movies during lunch (with taxpayers’ money);
  • Susan still works in Public Relations;
  • We still live in the same house in Wichita, and the automatic doors on our minivan are still a sore spot between Scott and Susan.
We did do ONE new thing this year. For spring break, we went skiing in Beaver Creek, CO.

Zach, seven, is in first grade. Adam is eight and in second grade. Their favorite subjects in school are lunch, gym, and recess, in that order. First Day of School post.

Soccer:

The boys love to read, play the Wii, and play outside with their neighbors. Zach likes to make up "worksheets" with math and reading problems for us to complete.
Adam can be found with his nose in a book.

Summer consisted of going to the pool. Pretty much as often as we could.
Scott is still trying to hang on as a soccer player in a young man's game, although his injuries continue to pile up and the knees are squeakier than ever. He still work as an investigator for the Department of Defense and he even managed to squeeze in a few more rounds of golf this year.

Susan continues to work in the communications field and tries to say she is "working" when she's really checking Facebook or posting on Twitter. She's still the boss of the house, holds every other title as well, except for Chief Financial Officer, which Scott has yet to give up.
Two small side trips include to Hutchinson's Salt Mine and Cosmosphere, and a short trip to Dodge City.

Below is a slideshow of favorite photos from 2010. Watch the slideshow full screen.

(Disclaimer: these are not the best photos regarding composition or color or that "one great shot," these are photos that pretty much represent our daily life.)
