Fourteen...and driving!

Fourteen!

In Kansas, a 14 year old can get a Learner's permit if they pass a written test, allowing you to drive with another adult in the car.

Because the Division of Motor Vehicles hours are not convenient for anyone (and we are gone every weekend with soccer games), we allowed him to skip a few classes at school to take the test.

He doesn't like driving the 2015 van...would much rather drive our 1998 Camry.

Random Summer Photos

First trip to the pool.

Sometimes your garage becomes a studio.

El Dorado lake with neighbors. Scott and Zach were at a soccer tournament.

The garden is finally gone! 😂

First day of School 2016

Team Building and Ropes Course

The boys spent the day at the Butler County Community College Grizzly Adventure Course with their soccer team.

Here's Adam.

The next three are Zach.

Rush Fest 2017

Zach and his team were able to attend Rush Fest, an annual event in Colorado for U12 age boys and girls' Rush teams from across the country. They get to play other Rush teams and receive training from other Rush coaches. Adam's team went last year.

A few photos from Colorado. Scott took the boys to the Air Force Academy and they were able to take a tour from one of Scott's classmates.

Here is the team at the Academy soccer fields.

At the chapel.

Their tour guide.

Training from another Rush coach, Fabrice, from Georgia.

Part of the fun is staying in the hotel. The boys stay in the rooms by themselves, with the chaperones on the same floor.
