First Day of School 2014

Fifth grade.

Sixth grade. He actually wore his glasses, but put his contacts in after school. We are working up to wearing them all day.

Contacts

Adam got contacts.

It took him almost an hour to get figure out how to get them in and out. Speaking from experience, it's kind of a hard thing to do...because you have to touch your eye, which you normally do not do. I guess after wearing contacts for 30 years, it's no big deal to me.

Success!

And just for historical purposes, Adam is wearing daily contacts. He wears them one day and throws them away. No cleaning. No boiling. No worrying about losing them.

Times have changed since I got my contacts in sixth grade. In 1984.

The dog

Somehow this happened.

Zach has been asking for a dog for months. He did research and decided he wanted a beagle. He attended a camp at the local Humane Society and all of sudden...we have Ali. She is a 2 1/2 year old beagle mix.

Scott is such a softie!
